How Close Are We?
Your Support at Work
Meeting the moment for music lovers
In an unprecedented year, your support continues to fuel a transformational season of ingenuity — enabling our talented musicians to continue making music and bringing joy to a broader community. Reaction to our radio, TV and livestream broadcasts this season:
“Thanks for all the options you provide. We don’t want to miss a concert! They are such a bright and hopeful part of our lives.”
“We love it! Makes us feel more in synch with our wonderful music community. Thank you.”
“These concerts saved me during the pandemic and made me realize how much the Orchestra improves my quality of life.”
Accessible education for young musicians – across the United States
“There was a lot more coming from Minnesota than some of the other orchestras we support and for that we are incredibly grateful and will continue to support the Minnesota Orchestra moving forward.” Paul and Donna Fox, Pittsburgh, PA
When Covid-19 turned life upside down, Pittsburgh, PA volunteer music directors, Paul and Donna Fox, were unsure of how to virtually engage with their youth orchestra students. Paul discovered education materials offered on the Minnesota Orchestra’s website, including musician duet videos and downloadable sheet music so that students could play these duets. Best of all — these education materials could be accessed for free. Opportunities to play new pieces alongside the talented musicians of the Minnesota Orchestra sparked inspiration for their orchestra students during this difficult time.
Thanks to continued support from our incredible donor community, the Orchestra is able to make free educational materials available to nourish creativity and inspire young music lovers through phenomenal orchestral experiences.
