Find That Instrument

Get to know how different instruments sound and how they can make you feel in this game from Toneworks Music Therapy Services, created for our Meet the Instruments Young People’s Concert Experience.

MEET THE INSTRUMENTS

To play, follow the directions below or access the activity on Seesaw.

Find That Instrument! Directions

  1. Download and print one or more Find that Instrument! Bingo Cards. (If you don’t have printer access, you can also draw your own cards with the instruments that you see on the bingo card.)
  2. Download and print the page of 16 faces with different emotions. Cut the faces out so that you can use them as game chips.
  3. Watch the video and listen to the sound clips, while covering each instrument that you hear with the face representing the emotion that instrument makes you feel.
  4. Listen for the instruments you heard in the game during the Meet the Instruments Young People’s Concert Experience. How do these instruments make you feel in the Concert Experience videos? Are your answers the same as they were during the game? Why or why not?
