Make Concerts Accessible to Anyone, Anywhere!

Help people connect to live music—wherever they are

Support your Minnesota Orchestra with a gift this August and help make concerts accessible to audience members anywhere they can connect through the addition of free livestreamed and on-demand concert experiences.

Gear-Up For Livestream and On-Demand Concerts

Whether you join us for concerts on Peavey Plaza this month, in Orchestra Hall this fall, or from the comfort of your living room via your TV, computer, tablet or smartphone—the Orchestra is committed to bringing you the joy of live classical performances.

Your gift today not only helps to sustain this outstanding ensemble, it will help equip your Minnesota Orchestra with the resources and technology needed to deliver free, high quality video livestreamed concerts in the coming months.

The first $57,000 contributed will be matched thanks to a collective of generous Orchestra donors who are ready to match your gift.

How Close Are We?

Delivering Music Digitally

Since April, Minnesota Orchestra content has been viewed online more than 6 million times! With your help we will be able to expand the way your Orchestra can continue to bring meaningful music to audiences.

For Patrons Unable to Join Us in Person

By delivering high quality, livestreamed videos using platforms such as YouTube and Facebook, your Minnesota Orchestra can ensure that loyal Orchestra patrons, including our nearly 100,000 fans on social media, continue to delight in the music they love.

"I desperately want to resume attending live orchestra performances, but livestreamed concerts are a desirable alternative until its truly safe for us to return to Orchestra Hall."
—Faith, Orchestra patron

For Students and Music Educators

Until recently, students, educators and families had limited access to video recordings of select concerts. In the upcoming 2020-2021 season, all Young People's Concerts will be recorded for on-demand viewing throughout the year.

"If our students cannot attend Young People’s Concerts in person due to the pandemic, we will make the Orchestra’s livestream and on-demand videos a “virtual field trip” for all of our student to log in and watch."
—Eric Songer, Chaska Middle School West

For New Audiences

Over the past few months, the Minnesota Orchestra at Home videos, including performances from musicians from each section, were viewed more than 1.1 million times on Facebook alone. Free, high quality livestreamed video will broaden this reach.

"Livestream and on demand videos are an opportunity to enlist a new audience and expand the Orchestra's reach into the community."
—Brett, Orchestra patron
