Re-imagined 2020-21 Season
This season, our philosophy has been to focus on ways the Minnesota Orchestra can ‘let there be music,’ despite the obstacles and challenges presented by the pandemic. We’ve reimagined the 2020-21 season with new formats and programming that are suited for this time.
Here is an overview of the revised season plan. A listing of all rescheduled and cancelled performances follows the summary.
DECEMBER 2020 - MARCH 2021
The Minnesota Orchestra will continue to come to you through live TV broadcasts on Twin Cities PBS (TPT-MN), live radio broadcasts on Classical Minnesota Public Radio, and livestreamed and on-demand concerts at minnesotaorchestra.org. All offered for free, affording wide and easy access for all.
Receive free on-demand access to these concerts on our streaming site.
Musicians will be physically distanced onstage. Musical selections and artists will be announced at least one month prior to performances.
APRIL - AUGUST 2021
At this time, concerts that are currently slated for April 5, 2021, and beyond will remain as scheduled, and we’ve shifted as many performances as possible into our 2021-22 concert calendar. Ticketholders will receive separate communication in advance of any future changes that may impact their 2020-21 season tickets.
