Irish-born mezzo-soprano Tara Erraught enjoys an ever-growing international career, acclaimed for her rich voice, expansive range and dynamic stage presence. In recent seasons she has sung world premieres, made numerous role debuts, and appeared in recitals and concerts throughout the United States, Canada, Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Performance credits include Wigmore Hall; New York’s Carnegie Hall, Weill Hall; the Celebrity Series of Boston; France’s Le Grand Foyer Series, Opera de Lille; Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ Terrace Theater; Vancouver Recital Society; Japan’s Tokyo Opera Nomori, solo opera gala concerts with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra; and Munich’s Nymphenburg Sommer. Erraught sings Annius on Deutsche Gramophone’s 2018 live recording of Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito. A resident principal soloist with Munich’s Bayerische Staatsoper from 2010-2018, the Dundalk native’s honors include a Promeritis scientiae et litterarum from the Bavarian government in recognition for outstanding contribution to the arts.
