Minnesota Orchestra’s Yoga Class at Orchestra Hall series features three yoga classes with live music
The Minnesota Orchestra’s Yoga Class at Orchestra Hall: Musical Flow with Minnesota Orchestra Musicians begins its new season on Sunday, November 10, at 10 a.m. The series includes three all-levels yoga classes in the sunlit lobby of Orchestra Hall, led by experienced Twin Cities-based yoga instructors, with music curated and played by Minnesota Orchestra musicians. The season begins on November 10 with a class led by yoga instructor Jaina Portwood, co-owner and founder of Radiant Life Yoga, with music performed live by the Minnesota Orchestra’s Principal Harp Kathy Kienzle. The second event, led by Zoé Henrot from CorePower Yoga with a musical performance by violinist Hanna Landrum, is scheduled for Sunday, February 23. The final session of the 2019-20 season, scheduled for Sunday, May 31, will be led by Courtney Perry from LifeTime and features Minnesota Orchestra’s Principal Flute Adam Kuenzel.
Entrance to each hour-long Yoga Class at Orchestra Hall is priced at $35 per person and is open to individuals ages 15 and up. Classes can be purchased individually or in a three-class package, which includes pair of complimentary tickets to a concert titled Music and the Mind on February 7.
